The sound has been of good quality, the voices are clear and sound effects aren't muffled or echoey. I enjoyed seeing prey animals/fodder still moving on their own even when I was far away, instead of only loading in/staying idle until I got close. There's plenty of small effects, like grass/flowers glimmering with embers or darkening if you use fire while running around, small rock chunks breaking off if you fire a canon at a cliff, etc. The colours are vibrant, character models look great, have personality, and move well, and the worlds are fairly detailed. I'm sure there's a downgrade from ps4, but I haven't noticed any hugely lacking textures or graphics popping in and out. The graphics have been beautiful on docked mode. I can't speak about comparing to other versions, but I did get the physical version this morning and have played for a good few hours now (on the first game, beat most levels in first world and am now making my way through the second).
